General Guidelines The IPOA Enforcement Mechanism allows any person or organization to lodge a complaint. All complaints must be presented in writing, and are not accepted verbally. Your complaint will be directed to the Chief Liaison Officer of the Standards Committee, who is an employee of IPOA and is not affiliated with any company.
Anonymous Complaints If you are lodging a complaint as an individual, and are not affiliated with a company, you may request that your identity be withheld from the Committee. However, for verification purposes you must identify yourself to the Chief Liaison Officer in your complaint. Be assured that the IPOA Enforcement Mechanism guarantees that your information will be kept confidential at all times. If you are lodging a complaint as a company or other organization, you may also request that your identity be withheld from the Committee. However, for verification purposes you must identify yourself to the Chief Liaison Officer in your complaint. Please note that companies and organizations do not enjoy the same confidentiality privileges as individual complainants, and that if your complaint is forwarded to the Full Committee, you may be requested to reveal the identity of your company or organization (however, not the identity of the actual person submitting the complaint) to the Standards Committee. |
